The Grace and Beauty of the Ancient Art of Tai Chi in Today's Fast-Paced World
Lorraine Noval, a founding partner of the Asian Arts Group Tai Chi Center, has studied and practiced Tai Chi for over 20 years. She is also a Master Trainer for the Tai Chi for Health Institute, an international organization dedicated to expanding the practice of Tai Chi around the world and making it accessible to everyone. She trains instructors around the country, and wants to see Tai Chi become more commonly accepted as a useful exercise to help maintain and improve health and wellness.
Tai Chi helps to cultivate mental focus and relaxation - both essential for personal wellness and productivity. Tai Chi will benefit people at all ages and fitness levels. While it is accessible to people who are elderly or inactive, it has the depth to challenge those who are fitter and more athletic. This workshop will give participants the opportunity to experience the beautiful art of Tai Chi as well as learn about its health and wellness aspects.
